Etsy is full of jewelry makers, and each has their own take on the usual adornments. Laurie, owner of the CuteThings6 says that she loves the jewelry of yesteryear, and is totally inspired to “rescue” a piece and bring it to life in a new form!

I was lucky enough to be sent not one, but two of Punkalife’s awesome T-shirts for a review (and your reading pleasure) and instantly fell in love with them. Great designs printed onto high quality fabric (100% cotton, of course) and a lot of additional details - sounds great, right?

Punkalife is Etsy shop - clothing store for men and women who love to find some rock for life. It’s a great place if you’re looking for indie, pop, retro or classic shirts, bands t-shirts, tank tops, singlets and baseball shirts.

These shirts are not only affordable but also very comfortable. A lot of the t-shirts have that vintage worn in feel to them that makes them feel cozy the minute you put them on. My shirts weren’t a vintage t-shirts but they were still really comfortable. The fabric didn’t feel too thick but it also wasn’t see through. It had that balance that just makes these shirts your favorite one.

A few weeks ago I was contacted by indie label YOUREYESLIE to see if I was interested in trialing some of their famous digital print pieces. As soon as I opened the parcel to find this amazing nebula dress I fell in love with my new dress, because I didn’t think it was possible to create something so vivid from simple piece of fabric.

 Dahlia is an innovative, quirky and girly style created by two sisters who started out selling from a stand at London’s Portobello Market. Reputedly, its popular with fashionistas and celebs. Dresses are at the core of the new collection and every dress has its own girl’s name.

Featuring a tonal polka dot print with a scoop neck, sleeveless styling, a fitted waistband and full, knife pleated skirt, a deep v to the reverse and a bow trim this Dahlia dress is absolutely adorable.

If there’s one thing I have a love/hate relationship with, it’s painting my nails. I was contacted by Incoco, they asked if I wanted to try and review their products.

The application process is so simple: just choose the strip that best fits your nail, peel off the backing, apply to your nail, and file off any excess strip!  In comparison to other nail polish strips, I find the Incoco strips more flexible and easier to mold to your nails. They are also a little bit cheaper, ranging from $8-10 per set.  Incoco has an amazing selection of patterns, as well as many solid colors and french tip sets too.  I would definitely recommend Incoco Nail Strips for a chic and easy manicure!

Speedy Girl review

Speedy Girl is a fun vintage site with new apparel posted every 24 hours. The name Speedy Girl, comes from the race to scoop up the limited quantities of dresses, blouses, skirts, and outerwear before they are sold out.

Here’s the scoop: everyday, Speedy Girl offers 2 new pieces at a special price. Speedy Girl pieces have a vintage, feminine feel similar to items you’d buy at some other indie shops, but at MUCH more reasonable prices. Plus, it’s started by Audrey from Conversation Pieces who is a complete sweetheart.

I was excited to receive the You’re A Gem Mini Dress. It arrived wrapped in white tissue paper and was tied with a pink lace ribbon. I thought the packaging was adorable.

I thought this dress was very cute. It fit true to size and the quality and price were great.

Overall, I was impressed with Speedy Girl’s fun selection; there isn’t a ton of items, but what they have is very special. Also, everything is well priced – most things are in the $20 – $30 range.
